Use these tools throughout the day to ease stress & anxiety for better focus, ease, and well-being NOW and into the future.

Feeling tense, stressed out, overwhelmed?
Hard to focus and concentrate?

College is hard enough on its own - but if you're completely stressed out, it's damn near impossible to do well in your classes, let alone feel well and enjoy life...

We know that pain.  We're clinical psychologists who met in graduate school, where we talked each other off the stress ledge every day.  We get it.  We really, really get it.

In our therapy and coaching practices, we've helped hundreds of college students learn to more effectively manage stress and to deal with the difficult thoughts that stop them from living the lives they dream of.

It doesn't have to be that way.  You can feel much better - starting now.

Imagine being able to get a quick get a read on your internal state and do something to shift it when you're moving into the stress zone...

You'd know what to do to calm stress before it spirals out of control...

You'd be able to think more clearly - learn, create, decide, relate - which is impossible when your nervous system is jacked up...

You'd be more resilient and confident, knowing you can handle what life throws your way.

The Bad News: Stress isn't going anywhere.

There's plenty more stress after college, so it's best to start learning how to manage it now so you can have a better college experience and be ready to live life head-on.

The Good News: Better understanding of the brain and nervous system means we have better ways to manage stress so it doesn't run our lives.

When you learn these tools, you change your brain for the better - and that'll help you now and for the rest of your life.

Mary Beth Leisen, PhD

Founder and Principal, Yellow Arrow Collective

Mary Beth Leisen, PhD is a clinical psychologist, coach, and mentor who creates and delivers programs online and in-person: courses, talks, workshops, and retreats.  Mary Beth's programs are based on her training background across a variety of areas, from science to spirituality: neuroscience / neurobiology, psychology, mindfulness, compassion, skill-building, Eastern philosophy, and indigenous wisdom practices.  Mary Beth's psychology background focused on understanding and treating stress, anxiety, PTSD, and depression in adolescents and adults.  She has led workshops, trainings, and other programs in over 25 cities across four continents.

Mary Beth lives in Boulder, CO and would rather be on a hiking trail than just about anywhere else.  In 2018, she walked across the country of Spain on the Camino de Santiago, which inspired the name and philosophy of the Yellow Arrow Collective, which you can read more about here.  She believes that the most powerful growth and healing for the mind, body, and soul take place in deep connection with others and with the natural world, and she does coaching, retreats, and ceremony in nature as much as possible.

Mary Beth has traveled to over 50 countries and dreams of seeing all of them.  She views a commitment to growth, curiosity, and openness as the key to a meaningful and fulfilling life, and in the spirit of her yearlong training at The Second City, she's committed to living a “Yes, and” life with energy, laughter, and joy.
