Freedom from Stress & Anxiety: Mind-Body Tools to
Reclaim Your Life and Thrive in College - in Only 15 Minutes a Day!

82% of college students had anxiety in the past month
61% struggle to find healthy ways to cope with stress

Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm feel terrible, and they can rob you not only of a great college experience, they can also jeopardize your future.
Scary, right?

It doesn’t have to be that way - you CAN learn practical tools to manage stress effectively and to deal with difficult thoughts so you can do well in college - and in life.

Introducing the Freedom from Stress and Anxiety Program: Mind-Body Tools to Reclaim Your Life - and Thrive in College.

Can you imagine what life would be like if you knew you could handle whatever life threw your way?

If you want that confidence, this is THE MOST important class you’ll ever take. For real: unlike chem formulas and obscure Russian history, you’ll use these skills literally every day, in every part of your life...

You can watch the video for an overview of the program - or skip it and read all the details below!

The Struggle Is Real

We’re Mary Beth Leisen and Jennifer Gray, psychologists and recovering stressballs.  (You can read more about us at the bottom of this page, if you're interested.)

We’ve worked with hundreds of college students - smart, fabulous people who were suffering from a wide range of physical and mental problems that tanked their grades and happiness: tension, agitation, illness, fear, worry, and very harsh inner critics - just to name a few...

For Hayley, a pre-med college junior, stress was literally destroying her life from the inside out, from massive stomach issues to chronic sleep deprivation to not being able to concentrate.  She pushed herself hard and was plagued by critical, judgy thoughts that she wasn’t good enough, didn’t belong there, and that she’d fail...

Does any of that sound even vaguely familiar?

We realized that much of our clients’ suffering had a common cause: they were overwhelmed by stress and anxiety.  They didn’t know that much of that overwhelm was happening in their brains and nervous system, often automatically - and they lacked the skills to cope with it effectively...

We created a simple framework and taught them practical tools for managing stress and anxiety based on the latest neurobiology and psychology research, which they practiced daily.  Not only did our clients’ physical and mental health improve, they also developed increasing confidence that they could deal with whatever life threw their way.

Can you imagine how that would feel?

The results have been truly inspiring, and we wanted to share it with more people, so we’ve put all that content into an online program so everyone can get these skills - and all of this with no therapy.

We’ll show you how, step-by-step…

But before we tell you about that, let’s get honest for a sec.

These skills don’t learn themselves. You’re gonna have to show up and put in some time and effort if you want to call them up when shit gets rough...

If you want things to just get handed to you, this program isn’t for you.

If you’re cool with feeling stressed and anxious, making your life more difficult, painful, and small, then it definitely is not for you.

This program is for people who don’t want to be limited, who can see that it’d feel a helluva lot better to step into life with more confidence and courage - and that feeling that way can start right now...

Is this you?

The good news is that the program is designed to give you an experience of calm and relief from the beginning - so most people find it’s easy to keep putting in the work.  You know what it’s like to put in some effort for a payoff - that’s what got you this far in life, right?

Alright… let’s get into the exciting bit and let me show you what it’s all about…

The Freedom from Stress and Anxiety Program:
Mind-Body Tools to Reclaim Your Life - and Thrive in College

This is the first time we’ve packaged all these gems into one package and made available in a program like this - and it’s good stuff!

Freedom from Stress and Anxiety consists of six modules, released weekly. Each week’s content and guided practices take 30-60 minutes to complete - and the course is self-paced, so you can do these when it works for you...

You’ll learn how the mind-body system works and how to work with it to your advantage.

The first three modules teach you about the nervous system and how to calm the body (and mind) so you can feel some relief right away.

The final three modules deal with the difficult voices in your head - how to deal with all those painful thoughts that freak you out, beat you up, or make your life miserable a thousand other ways.

You’ll learn much better ways to successfully navigate life - and feel a helluva lot better.

Sound good?

In each module, you’ll get:

  • Content videos that detail the concepts and practices so you can start using them right away
  •  Handouts and Worksheets: Easy reference and applying the content to your own life
  • Guided practices so you have support as you learn the tools
  • LifePlay: Tips for how to integrate the learnings into your daily life
  • Participant Community where you can share,  ask questions, and see that you're not alone in all this

These strategies aren’t some magic spell that’ll make your life easy.  Reality is that shit WILL hit the fan - and maybe more than you imagined or wanted...

But when you have a strong set of strategies and tools, you have the powerful ability to handle anything life throws your way and respond effectively.  That is not only confidence; it’s freedom.

With just 15 minutes a day practicing these skills, this could be you.  Cool, right?

Let’s get into the deets a bit so you can see how all this will play out...

Modules Overview

Module 1: Stress & Anxiety: Time for Some Relief

In Module #1, you’ll begin increasing awareness and understanding of your internal experience using the Internal Selfie. This helps you recognize physical sensations, thoughts, and emotions sooner - and do something about it, before they spiral out of control.

  • Make It a Habit Handout: How to turn these practices into automatic habits, based on the latest neuroscience findings

Module 2: Brain & Nervous System: Friends or Foes?

Module #2 explains the roles and distinctions between the Survival Brain and the Thinking Brain - and how they affect the nervous system (and hence the entire body), as well as how to get centered in everyday and more overwhelming moments when the survival brain gets triggered.

Included in Module 2:

Module 4: What's in Our Heads?

Beginning with Module #4, the focus shifts to the mind and the role of thoughts - especially those difficult ones.  Module #4 presents myths, facts and research about thoughts, explains the negativity bias, and describes how thoughts themselves can trigger the Survival Brain – and the physical stress response that follows.

Included in Module 4:

  • Five short videos that explain how thoughts work and their impact, guided practice in working with difficult thoughts, and self-support practices

Module 5: Dealing with the Voices in Your Head

Module #5 looks more closely at negative thoughts: what they are, what your own negative voices say, where they come from, and voices that are more common - and begins the process of how to work with them more effectively.

Included in Module 5:

  • Five short videos that explain negative voices in detail, how to get to know one’s own negative voices, and guided practices for more awareness and self-support when hijacked by negative voices
  • Ultimate Influencers Handout: Summary on negative voices and how they operate
  • Know Your Negative Voices Worksheet: To help recognize yours more easily and get some distance
  • Cheri Huber Quote Handout: How to tell whether to listen to a voice in your head

Module 6: Neutralizing Mind Hijackers

The final module continues to add more strategies to minimize the impact of negative thoughts that can hijack the entire mind and nervous system. Specific ways to offer oneself self-support are explored, and the session ends with a review of the course.

Included in Module 5:

  • Six short videos that detail practical strategies for neutralizing negative voices / difficult thoughts so they don’t have such a strong impact and ways to support yourself so you can get back on track more quickly
  • Defusion Handout: Strategies to get distance from negative thoughts and lessen their impact
  • Reality Check Handout: Process to challenge negative thoughts and beliefs
  • Focus Shift Handout: How to widen or narrow perspective to see situations, thoughts and beliefs differently

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

These skills don’t learn themselves, so that means you’ll need to put in some time and energy if you want to see change in your life.  That said, they can be done one step at a time, spending about 15 minutes a day practicing the tools, outside of the 30-60 minutes of each weekly session.

The whole point is for you to integrate this so this becomes more of the way you live vs. something you carve out time for.  And it saves A TON of time in pain, beating yourself up, worrying and stressing, and not doing the things you want to do in life.

Yes it is - everyone learns differently, and we love a little one-on-one time as well!

For those who don’t register in time to take advantage of the group coaching, it’s also possible to do individual coaching.  Email marybeth@yellowarrowcollective.com, and we’ll set up a time to talk more about it

Yes.  If you do the work for the first four modules and experience no benefit whatsoever, we will refund your money.
